On July 18, 2016, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an inspection at the permanently shut down Zion Nuclear Power Station (ZNPS). The NRC inspectors discussed the results of this inspection with Mr. Jerry Houff and other members of yours staff. The inspectors documented the results of this inspection in the enclosed inspection report.
On July 18, 2016, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an inspection at the permanently shut down Zion Nuclear Power Station (ZNPS). The NRC inspectors discussed the results of this inspection with Mr. Jerry Houff and other members of yours staff.


This inspection report documents a review of the following aspects of onsite activities: operation of an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI), emergency preparedness exercise performance, occupational radiation safety exposures, and final status surveys. The inspection consisted of an examination of activities at the sites as they relate to safety and compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations. Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the enclosed report.
