The Edison Company and those others involved wanted cheap fix and then forget about it until something bad happens.

This is a typical example of corporate greed. As long as they make money and don't have to pay any cost for maintaining the trash they've created, it's all good. I can't help but think of the terrible oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico created by that corporate Giant BP. They felt bad but there was only so much they could do. In the end they're free to do the same today because the corporate greed speaks loudest at the politicians.

Our problem is much more disastrous.

An accident with this spent fuel could ruin Life as We Know It in this beautiful area forever.

Edison needs to step up' and take responsibility for the waste they created and profited from. I feel hopeless because the corporate is so powerful https://www.fdms.gov/fdms/
