I am a 30-year resident of South Orange County, California, and STRONGLY OBJECT to the planned installation of the thin-walled Holtech canisters at San Onofre. It's unconscionable to believe that regulatory groups such as yours would actually put the lives of so many millions of residents at such risk when it's clear that the much thicker containers are FAR safer, plus provide an ability for regular inspections. Please STOP this process NOW, and take the appropriate actions to better ensure the safety and lives of the 8 millions residents within a SO-mile radius of the SONGS facility.
