[External_Sender] Docket ID NRC-2017-0211 Importance: High To the members of the NRC: We are alarmed by the plan to use thin, temporary storage containers for San Onofre nuclear waste instead of the kind of thick casks that are used in other nations. What could possibly go wrong? Some risks are too treacherous to consider taking. I recall learning in physics 101 that many of the radioisotopes contained in nuclear power plant waste are highly CORROSIVE. Please note also that we support the excellent SanOnofreSafety.org comment that was submitted by Donna Gilmore. Please consider our concerns, and please inform us of related decisions.
