| | ==Dear Mr. Warr:== |
| | |
| | i In accordance with Part II.A.2 of the referenced permit, we are submitting a noncompliance report for a violat'fon which occurred at the i referenced plant. |
| | Analyses performed April 19, 1985 on samples collected April 14, 1985 indicated a Total' Suspended Solids concentration of 29.67 kg/ day for the Turbine Building Sump Unit 1 (Discharge Point 004A). The maximum permit limit is 9.5 kg/ day. |
| | This noncompliance was caused by the abnormally high volume of water from various sources and high solids from the service water. A review of the Unit 1 Turbine Building Sump daily volumes from April 11 through April 23 indicates the daily average has been 0.113 MGD. The typical daily volume during a non-outage period is 0.056 MGD. During this time two additional sources of water have been identified which discharge to this sump. These are the air compressor cooling water recovery system overflow and the secondary chemistry lab air conditioner cooling water. |
| | Due to an incorrect valve alignment in the cooling water system to the air conditioner, flow was diverted to the sump. Service water is used for these cooling water systems. |

Dear Mr. Warr:
i In accordance with Part II.A.2 of the referenced permit, we are submitting a noncompliance report for a violat'fon which occurred at the i referenced plant.
