"Report to Offsite Agencies Regarding Discovery of Deceased Crocodile Not Caused by Facility Operation "This 4-Hour Non-Emergency Notification to the NRC is being made based on notifications to other government agencies per 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi).

"On May 23, 2017 at approximately 1605 EST, the control room was notified of a deceased American Crocodile discovered in the Owner Controlled Area. Based on visual evidence and the state of decomposition, the crocodile's death was not caused by facility operations. The Federal Fish and Wildlife Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were notified on 5/23/2017 at approximately 1638 EST.

"The NRC Resident Inspector was notified."

Notified the R2DO(Heisserer) and Endangered Species Group (via email).
