Dear Mr. Boyd:

On November 22, 1978, New York State Electric & Cis Corpo-ration (NYSE&G) and Long Island Lighting Company (LILCO) tendered an application for construction permits and all licenses reg' tired in connection with the ownership, use and operation for NYSE&G 1

& 2. The two unit nuclear powered electric generating station is to be located at the New Haven site in the County of Oswego, State of New York.

The applicants have changed the official name of the facil-ity from NYSE&G 1 & 2 to New Haven 1 & 2. The name change, effective as of February 23, 1979, will be used on all future correspondence and amendments to the application.
