| Acceptance Review for Davis-Besse LAR and Request for Exemption Dated April 15, 2009 By letter dated April 15, 2009, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company submitted a license amendment request and request for exemption for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS). The purpose of this e-mail is to provide the results of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff's acceptance review of this relief request. The acceptance review was performed to determine if there is sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the NRC staff to complete its detailed technical review.
