SUBJECT:
PERRY NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNIT NO.1 - CORRECTION TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE (TAC NO. ME0979)
Dear Mr. Bezilla:
On July 16, 2009, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 152 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-58 for the Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No.1 (PNPP) (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No.
ML091810397). This amendment consisted of changes to the facility operating license and the technical specifications (TSs) in response to your application dated March 25, 2009 (ADAMS Accession No. ML090840475).
The amendment deleted those portions of the TSs superseded by Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 26, Subpart I.
Following the issuance of the amendment, the NRC staff discovered an error. The errata sheet included with the amendment did not indicate that TS page 5.0-3a should be removed and that there is no replacement page. This error was typographical in nature and did not change the NRC staff's conclusions regarding the amendment for PNPP. Enclosed is the corrected version of the affected page. Please discard the page issued with the July 16, 2009, amendment, and replace it with the enclosed page.
If you have any questions, please contact me at 301-415-3719 Sincerely,
/1/// .
