FINAL SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT UPDATE SCHEDULE (EPID L-2024-LLE-0005)
Dear Rod L. Penfield:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has approved the enclosed exemption from specific requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), part 50, section 50.71(e)(4), for the Beaver Valley Power Station (BVPS), Units 1 and 2; Perry Nuclear Power Plant (PNPP), Unit 1; and Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS), Unit 1. This action is in response to your application dated February 23, 2024, as supplemented on August 15, 2024, that requested exemptions to allow periodic updates: of the BVPS, Unit 1, Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) by May 31 of every even-numbered year, of the BVPS, Unit 2, UFSAR by May 31 of every odd-numbered year, of the PNPP, Unit 1, UFSAR by September 30 of every odd-numbered year, and of the DBNPS, Unit 1, UFSAR by September 30 of every even-numbered year, provided the interval between successive updates does not exceed 24 months for each unit.
