By letter dated March 18, 2014, Exelon Generation submitted a request to dispose of slightly contaminated soil on the Dresden Nuclear Power Station site in accordance with 10 CFR 20.2002. Please review the proposal and provide a safety evaluation of the acceptability. An electronic copy of the request has been provided to Adam Schwartzman as he participated in a pre-submittal meeting with the licensee. The licensee has requested completion of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission review by March 18, 2015, so we are requesting your safety evaluation by December 31, 2014.
