CONFIRMATORY LETTER REGARDING THE INOPERABILITY OF SALEM STATION FIRE PUMPS DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 No. 1 Fire Pump was declared inoperable on April 23, 1992, and remains inoperable due to a broken crankshaft. Repairs to the crankshaft are being performed at the manufac.turer' s facility.
CONFIRMATORY LETTER REGARDING THE INOPERABILITY OF SALEM STATION FIRE PUMPS DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 No. 1 Fire Pump was declared inoperable on April 23, 1992, and remains inoperable due to a broken crankshaft.
On May 15, 1992, during performance of a surveillance test the No~ 2 Fire Pump was declared inoperable due to a s~vere oil leak.
Repairs to the crankshaft are being performed at the manufac.turer' s facility.
