This letter is in response to your July 19, 1978 letter, received July 21, 1978, which referred to compliance items discussed by Mr.R.Watts (RG6E)and Mr.J.White (USNRC, Region I)on june 5 and 6, 1978.In the letter you requested confirmation of your understandings of Mr.Watts'tate-ments.These items are discussed below and are identified corresponding to the listing given in Appendix A'to Dr.Volgenau's May 1, 1978 letter.1.Item No.II lost film bad e evaluations We confirm that your understanding is correct in that evaluations per-formed in certain instances of film badge loss were not properly docu-mented, and therefore the reports for the concerned individuals prepared under the cited regulations (10 CFR 20.408 and 20.409)were incomplete.
