Attachment A PSE&G Commitments for LER 272/95-015 The following items represent PSE&G commitments made to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission related to LER 272/95-015-00. The commitments are as follows:

On Going

1. Maintain the appropriate Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG)

Surveillance Procedures which clarify the EDG start time methodology.

One Time Actions

1. Licensing basis (Tech Spec, UFSAR. etc.) criteria related to the EDG' s, along with its associated implementing procedures (e.g.,

Surveillance Testing Procedures), is being reviewed as an integral step in the Salem Station System Restart Readiness Program.

Inconsistencies found as a result of this review will be evaluated and corrected, as necessary, prior to the restart of each Salem Unit.

2. A revision request (Rll433) has been initiated to revise appropriate EDG ST procedures relative to clarifying the timing methodology. These procedures will be revised in the near future and prior to their future use.
