In the fourth line of the first paragraph of the letter, the phrase "Containment Spray (CS) nozzle" should have been "Core Spray (CS) nozzle."

Enclosed is a corrected transmittal letter. The same correction has been made on the hard copies being sent to the Service List.

We apologize for the error.

In accordance with the provisions of the Board's Partial Initial Decision (Ruling on Contentions 2A, 2B, 3, and 4), LBP-08-25, 68 N.R.C. _ (Nov. 24, 2008), slip op. at 67, Entergy has performed confirmatory environmentally assisted fatigue (CUFen) analyses on the Containment Spray (CS) nozzle and the reactor pressure vessel recirculation outlet (RO) nozzle at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station. Entergy 0 C/o -01

is serving at this time electronic copies of those analyses on the parties to the above captioned proceeding. Hard copies are also being sent today by overnight mail to the NRC Staff, the New England Coalition and the Vermont Department of Public Service.

This submittal comprises three electronic messages. This first message, attaching Entergy's cover letter, is being transmitted to the entire service list. The second message, comprising the calculation package for the CS nozzle, is being transmitted only to the parties (including interested States). The third message, comprising the calculation package for the RO nozzle, is being forwarded only to the parties (including interested States).
