This is to inform the parties that Chairman Jaczko will be holding a roundtable discussion with Vermont Yankee area stakeholders in Brattleboro, Vermont on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. The roundtable discussion will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11 :00 a.m. at the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center at 1380 Putney Road and will be open to public observation. Following the roundtable discussion, he will meet with reporters and then travel to the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station. The Chairman will conduct a tour of the facility, meet with the NRC resident inspectors and hold an all-hands meeting with plant employees. The purpose of the Chairman's activities is to gain greater familiarity with the facility and discuss general matters relating to the facility. The Chairman will not engage in substantive discussions regarding any of the issues in the ongoing adjudicatory proceeding.
