On March 12, 2012, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued the letter identified above as Reference 1 to Union Electric Company (dba Ameren Missouri) for Callaway Plant. Enclosure 2 of Reference 1 contains specific Requested Actions, Requested Information, and Required Responses associated with Near-Term Task Force Recommendation 2.1, Flooding.

Reference 2 provided Ameren Missouri's Flooding Hazard Reevaluation Report for Callaway Plant. Reference 3 transmitted a Request for Additional Information (RAI) from the NRC to Ameren Missouri and requested a response within 30 days from the date of this letter. The enclosure to this letter provides Ameren Missouri's response to the RAis with respect to Callaway Plant's Flooding Hazard Reevaluation Report. This letter does not contain new commitments.
