Regarding Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 Date(s) and Time(s): September 29, 2022, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET Location: Webinar Category: This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting between Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy, the licensee) and the US. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss a license amendment request (LAR) to revise a Note on Table 4.3-2 of the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3, Technical Specifications to eliminate the online testing exemption of certain Engineered Safety Features Actuation System subgroup relays. This LAR is a resubmittal of a previous LAR that was withdrawn by Entergy on December 20, 2018 (ML18354B283), and acknowledged by the NRC in a letter dated January 24, 2019 (ML19009A362).
