(the licensee) is requesting a meeting with U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to discuss a proposed license amendment for removing the Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 50, Appendix A, General Design Criterion 4 dynamic response requirements using leak before-break (LBB) methods for the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 surge line. The purpose of meeting is for the licensee to present its proposed approach under NUREG-0800, Standard Review Plan Section 3.6.3, "Leak-Before-Break Evaluation Procedures," using Westinghouse LBB methods.

CATEGORY 1:' The public is invited to participate in this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned .
