Hi Trevor, On June 27, 2024, a brief clarification call was held between representatives of NRC, PG&E, and Enercon to ensure NRC staffs understanding of PG&Es response to information request RCI AQN-3, which was included in the audit summary for the Diablo Canyon license renewal environmental review (ML24106A288). PG&E's response to RCI AQN-3 was submitted on May 16, 2024 (ML24137A314). The conversation was for clarification only. During the call, PG&E acknowledged that, for 2023, the emissions for two engines that are now part of a conditional permit were inadvertently counted twice in its emissions calculations provided during the March 2024 environmental audit. Given that the resulting value is more conservative, there were no additional follow-up questions from NRC staff.
