CALVERT CLIFFS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNIT 1, CORRECTION TO THE RENEWED FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE PAGE 3 IN AMENDMENT NO. 345 (EPID L-2022-LLA-0198)
Dear Mr. Rhoades:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has identified a typographical error in Renewed Facility Operating License (RFOL) No. DPR-53, Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant (Calvert Cliffs), Unit 1. The NRC staff is issuing this letter to correct an error per the guidance in the NRC memorandum dated January 16, 1997 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML103260096), which is derived from the Staff Requirements Memorandum (ML003754054) for SECY-96-238 (ML20134M324, non-public).
By letter dated April 24, 2023 (ML23086C067), the NRC staff issued Amendment No. 345 to RFOL DPR-53 for Calvert Cliffs, Unit 1, in response to license amendment request dated April 20, 2022 (ML22110A155), from Constellation Energy Generation, LLC.
The typographical error inadvertently omitted (4) before the first paragraph on license page 3.
To correct this error, NRC staff inserted (4) before first paragraph of license page 3.

(4) Constellation Energy Generation, LLC, pursuant to the Act and 10 CFR Parts 30, 40, and 70, to receive, possess, and use, in amounts as required, any byproduct, source, and special nuclear material without restriction to chemical or physical form, for sample analysis or instrument calibration or associated with radioactive apparatus or components; and (5) Constellation Energy Generation, LLC, pursuant to the Act and 10 CFR Parts 30 and 70, to possess, but not separate, such byproduct and special nuclear materials as may be produced by the operation of the facility.
C. This license is deemed to contain and is subject to the conditions set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I and is subject to all applicable provisions of the Act, and the rules, regulations, and orders of the Commission, now or hereafter applicable; and is subject to the additional conditions specified and incorporated below:
(1) Maximum Power Level Constellation Energy Generation, LLC is authorized to operate the facility at steady-state reactor core power levels not in excess of 2737 megawatts-thermal in accordance with the conditions specified herein.
(2) Technical Specifications The Technical Specifications contained in Appendices A and B, as revised through Amendment No. 344, are hereby incorporated into this license. Constellation Energy Generation, LLC shall operate the facility in accordance with the Technical Specifications.
(a) For Surveillance Requirements (SRs) that are new, in Amendment 227 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-53, the first performance is due at the end of the first surveillance interval that begins at implementation of Amendment 227. For SRs that existed prior to Amendment 227, including SRs with modified acceptance criteria and SRs whose frequency of performance is being extended, the first performance is due at the end of the first surveillance interval that begins on the date the Surveillance was last performed prior to implementation of Amendment 227.
(3) Additional Conditions The Additional Conditions contained in Appendix C as revised through Amendment No. 345 are hereby incorporated into this license.
Constellation Energy Generation, LLC shall operate the facility in accordance with the Additional Conditions.
