B.2.3.5 B-57 to B-61 The staff found no specific documents indication that the applicant has reviewed recent industry operating experience (OE) documented in Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI)

Technical Report 3002012244, Revision 3, Nondestructive Evaluation: Guideline for Conducting Ultrasonic Examinations of Dissimilar Metal Welds, published in February 2018, in response to industry issues regarding the performance of DM weld examinations. This report provides enhanced guidance and Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 03-08, Guideline for the Management of Materials Issues, requirements and recommendations for the examinations of DM welds.

Confirm whether and when the applicant has reviewed this information and implemented any applicable guidance from it in this AMP. If applicable guidance not been implemented, confirm when the applicant is planning to implement the guidance.

2 B.2.3.5 B-57 to B-61 The staff found no specific documents indicating that the applicant has reviewed NRC Regulator Issuance Summary (RIS) 2015-10, Applicability of ASME Code Case N-770-1 as Conditioned in 10 CFR 50.55a, Codes and Standards, to Branch Connection Butt Welds, issued in July 16, 2015.

Confirm whether and when the applicant has reviewed this information for applicability to their Alloy 600 management plan to ensure all applicable butt welds are being inspected as required by the NRC regulations.
