Investigative Interview Transcript Corrections I i l

Dear Mr. Goldberg:

Based upon our recent telephcne conversation, I am forwarding j transcript corrections for my interview taken on June 17, 1986. l As I mentioned, the interview was very well transcribed with a j few minor typographical errors, which can be seen on the enclosed l marked-up copy. Two more substantive comments require your consideration.

The first comment involves one of my answers, which was correctly transcribed but which oversimplifies the actual answer to one of your questions. The portion in question is lines 4 through 12 on '

page 9 of the transcript. My answer ignores the realities of )

certain contractual constraints on my ability to travel due to expenditure of funds. In fact, my travel required permission, l which could likely have been obtained, had I expressed a  ?

compelling need.

The second comment involves an evident transcription error on page 20, line 12. The transcribed version is senseless. To the best of my recollection, the words "in the late" should be replaced with "would not" so that the last portion of that sentence would read, " ...it would be likely that their compliance with concrete inspection procedures would not have been on that list." i Thank you for the opportunity to review anc correct this transcript.
