By letter dated Octobirl25,1968, Southern California Edison and' E San Diego Gas. and Electric Company,1ubmitted an application to withdraw their joint Application for a Construction Permit for the Edison-San,Diego unit of the Bolsa Island Project.

Subsequently, by letter. dated December 27, 1968,. the Department of Watqr. and Power of the City of Los Angeles submitted e,similar applif.ation for withdrawal of /their Application for a Construction Pelmi't to operate the Department unit of the Bolsa 1 eland Project..t c
