I would like to know what arrangements your Commission makes for sampling the radioactive wastes from such a Reactor as that proposed for Bodega Head.

Does such monitoring include the amount of radioactivity prosent in the daily food from all sources ? For instanoe, if the citizen has eggs and milk for breakfast with an in-finitessimak smidgb in each ; crab salad and baked custard with like amounts at lunch and again the merest touch at dinner with baked salmon and artichokes from hillsides over which ra&ieaotive gases are wafted.

It does not 'seem to matter so much about the amount which is present at one particular moment, as the cumulative effects from continual tiny doses. Of course,16 dine 131 breaks down, but does it after it has reached the thyroid 7 Alse- would such a monitoring program include estimates of the amount of radioactivity remaining in the atmosphere from tests already conducted by the Russians and by us ?

I hear there ire reports on this obtained by plane They must be available to you, although still withheld from the citizen.
