It summarizes the results of the geologic investi ations vs have G

conducted durin6 the past 17 months on behalf of the Atomic Energy Commission. The report, tho @ authored by Schlocker and bonilla, has hM critical review by Survey geologists vbo have made extensive studies of the San Andreas fault and related geologic problems.

It, therefore, not only presents the opinions of the authors on the prob-ability of future ground displacement on Bodega Head resulting fnam a severs earthquake, but also reflects the judgment of the Geolgdoal Survey on this matter.
