reported the following impressions of the U. S. Geological Survey 1.

They seemed to be completely objective in that their discussions i

were not related to the Bodega Reactor application, but were I

limited to factual observations they had made of the geology l

They were extremely cooperative and e:splained in considerabfra

$.:1 detail the significance of their findings to the inspectors f-and the other interested participants.

They appeared to be methodical (a that they spent the entire

i day making minute (and sometimes microscopic) observations of details associated with the geology of the excavated areas.
