=ission for the Bodega Bay Atomic plant.
h'r Gardes' statement follows:
l "Ue have repeatedly stated that if any reasonable doubt exists about the I
safety of the proposed Bodega plant, we uculd not consider going forward with it.
"The Eodega site and the engineering design cf the plant vere s;ndied e::-
tensively and confir=ed as safe by eminent consultants in geology, seismology and seismic design. The Advisory Cc =ittee on Reactor Safeguards, an independent group i
of twelve eminent scientists and engineers estfolished by law to advise the Atc=ic Energy Cen21 scion, ca:e to the sace conclusion. We are convinced that these views 1
