FEB4 1965 c.2c5 Dr. Thomas B. Nolan, Director U. S. Geological Survey Department of the Interior Washington 25, D. C.
Dear Dr. Nolan:
Now that the Bodega Head case is ended, I want to thank you for the fine cooperation and the high caliber of professional assistance which we received from you and other members of your staff.
Dr. Baker, Dr. Anderson, Mr. Wilmarth, Mr. Clebsch and many others did everything possible to help us with this difficult problem.
In particular, I hope you will express our thanks to Julius Schlocker and Manuel Bonilla.
I know that they worked many days and nights, sometimes almost around the clock, at the site during the course of the excavation.
I should also say that we are continuing to get the same kind of competent and objective professional assistance from the Survey on the other cases that are pending.
Sincerely,
( siened ) Harold L Price l
