Gentlemen:

Why is it necessary that Pacific Gas and Electric Com-pany's new nuclear power plant be located on Bodega Head?

Tliis is a scenic landmark and wildlife refuge.

Is there any real reason that it should be desecrated for the next one hundred yenes with a boxy building and power lines?

Have you considered the safety of the thousands of people who will be living in the town about one mile direct-ly downwimd?

Are the reactor safety features tried and proven beyond any reasonable doubt---especially with the San Andreas fault virtually underneath it?

Is thnre a possibility of radioactive iodine being generated, which will then con-taminate the great poultry and dairy areas directly downwind?

(

With hundreds of miles of coastline to pick from, and with other communities petitioning for the plant to be lo:a-ted near them, why do this thing?

Certainly those in the imm-ediate area should hnve m6re voice in the matter.

Why have public hearings been virtually eliminated?
