Why is it necessary that Pacific Gas and Electric Com-pany's new nuclear power plant be located on Bodega Head?

is a scenic landmark and wildlife refuge. Is there any realTliis reasonwith yenes thataitboxy should be desecrated building and powerforlines? the next one hundred Have you considered the safety of the thousands of people ly downwimd? who will be living in the town about one mile direct-Are the reactor safety features tried and proven beyond any reasonable doubt---especially with the San Andreas fault virtually underneath it? Is thnre a possibility of radioactive iodine being generated, which will then con-taminate the great poultry and dairy areas directly downwind? ,

With hundreds of miles of coastline to pick from, and with other communities petitioning for the plant to be lo:a-ted near them, why do this thing? Certainly those in the imm- .

ediate area should hnve m6re voice in the matter. Why have public hearings been virtually eliminated?
