Dear.Dr. Beck:
You were very gracious on Tuesday, June 27, in giving us an opportunity to visit with you regarding the 325,000 kw nuclear power plant which the Company will build at Bodega Bay located some-fifty miles north of San Francisco. Assuming that the necessary licenses and permits are received on schedule, we plan to start construction of this plant in August 1962, witti completion scheduled for December 1965.
The attached Electrical West Industry News Letter of June 28, 1961, gives a good description of this plant and includes,.
for the most part, the same information which we gave you during our recent visit.
As we mentioned to you and as pointed out in the attached l
News Letter, we have asked for no subsit,tes for this plant and none l
of the cost is allocated to research ar.1 development.
We would welcome an oppor. unity to supply you with any additional information which might be of value.
We invite you to visit our Humboldt Atomic Plant, which is now approximately twenty per cent complete, any time you might have an l
opportunity. In addition, you might like to visit our Vallecitos Atomic j
Plant and also see the site on which the Bodega Atomic Plant will be located.
