BODEGA, DOCKET No. 50-205 Mr. Welchel of P.G.&E. called,to ask advice as to whether P.G.&E. should attempt to supply answers in writing to the quertions which were propounded by the ACRS subcommittee.

Copies of these questions were distributed at a subcommittee meeting on March 13.

Mr. Welchel indicated that he was J

willing to prepare and submit answers in writing at the i

coming ACRS Meeting April 11 to 13.

He was advised that the submission of information at such a late. date would not allow the usual time for review to which both the staff and the ACRS are accustomed. I expressed the opinion also that it was better to submit the information late than not to sub-mit it at all, j

Mr. Welchel suggested, and I agreed, that some of the comittee's questions were of such significance that they

]

deserved a response from P.G.&E. in writing. He stated j

further that they intended to respond to all of the sub-I committee's questions rather than to risk overlooking scme point which the subcommittee might consider significant.
