The U. S. Geological Survey, at the Coaunission's request, has been  :

conducting a thorough field study of the geology of Bodega Head. In addition, expert consultants have been retained to assist the AEC regu-latory staff in evaluating Pacific Gas & Electric Company's application  !

with respect to the seismology of the area and the structural design of the proposed plant. The report by the U. S. Geological Survey has not  !

I yet been received by the Commission. Also, additional studies relating to the geology of the site are expected to continue through Septen3b er.
