While the details incident to entering into a consulting contract with you have not been completed and vill re-quin a few days the. time urgency' involved in this. case makes it desirahle that we previde you with the information described belev This letter contains information concerning the expected schedule of Cemmission action on the application and the particu?ar technical problems to which we world like you to address yourself. We are hopeful that this information vill be helpful to you.

I am enclosing a copy of the Preliminary Hasszils Summary Report for Pacific Gas & Electric Company's Bodega reactor and Amendment No. 1 and Amendment No. 2 thereto. The first of these dccuments is the principle source of information presented by the applicant concerning the geology of 'the pro-posed reactor site and the effects of earthquakes on the nactor plant.
The two amendments contain answers to questions which the Regdatory Staff' i
of the Commission had presented to the applicant.
