Dear customer:

As you may know INC has recently~ been audited by the USNRC with the focus being on our Type B container testing and QA program.

The USNRC has raised questions about our Type B containers (which include

IR50, IR100, and OP100) testing procedures.

These questions relate to-our free drop test and puncture test's. target.

i pads and the assessments of these results.

We are working with the USNRC to resolve these questions and have agreed to ratest our Type B containers.

Meanwhile, we have suspended fabrication of our Type B containers.

We hope this~will be a temporary situation and'will resume producing as soon as all questions are resolved.

We have evaluated the USNRC's questions to determine if there is any impact on health and _ safety. After review, we believe there is -

no public health or safety risk-with our Type B containers (IR50, IR100,.and OP100).

This is confirmed by the fact that there has been no problem with our containers during any transportation.

You may continue using them by following appropriate transportation procedures.

The USNRC has asked INC to provide to the users any instruction or administrative control that should be followed.

Enclosed is our standard shipping instructions that we ship with each container.

Proper transportation is integral to safety of any Type B container.

Please follow the instructions closely.
