I Mr. Tiktinsky, please find attached documentation for the puncture assessment test for the IR 100 Exjhosure. Device [US A/9157/B(U)) and the hg l L Ilk 50 Source Changer (US A/9156/B(U)) and Overpack (USA /9185/B(U))

i used for shipping the IR 50 Changer.

IdC feels that the mneture assessment test performed on the IR-100 (Detober 1990) and LR-50 Changer meets the r:quirement of 10 CFR Pan 7 J.73(c)(3).

At your request, we have performed al free drop test and a puncture M

test on the camera submitted ore 20/26/90.

Testing was 'erformed p

in accordance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission 10 CFR Ch. 1 (1-1-90 Edition) S'71,73 Hypothetical acc4 dent conditions. The ambient air temperatur' throughout the test was approximately 70*F.

The weight of the era was 52.4 pounds.

Testing was witnessed by Mr.

E. W. Huddleston.

A frpe drop of the camera through a distance of nine meters (30 ft.) into a f:lat, essentially unyielding, horifontal surface, striking the surface in a position for Qhich maximum damage ik expected.

At Mr. Huddleston's request' a second test was performed on the camera (Serial #4005) after the repair wasj made.

The second test was conducted using the 'same testing procedure.
