I, William T.
- Wallace, Jr.,
being on oath, hereby depose and say as follows:
1.
I am the Director of the New Hampshire Division of Public Health Services (DPHS), Department of Health and Human Services.
2.
Several procedures have been adopted to keep potential radiological exposure to a minimum.
These are fully described in Section 2.7 of Volume 1.
3.
The intent of the radiological exposure program is to provide maximum protection to all emergency workers under any circumstances.

In the event that radiological exposure.to the population would exceed

the conservative exposure limits established for local emergency workers,-
there is no intention to cause these emergency workers to abandon their responsibilities for protecting the health and safety of the public.
