AFFIDAVIT OF RICHARD H. STROME (NHLP-2)

I, Richard H. Strome, being on oath, hereby deposes and says as follows:

1. I am the Director of the New Hampshire Civil Defense Agency (NHCDA).

2. Should the need arise during a radiological emergency response, the resources of the State's Department of Transportation would be brought to bear in support of maintaining evacuation routes consistent with the New Hampshire Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP),

Volume 1, pp. 2.6-11b and 14.

3. In the event of a radiological emergency at the Seabrook Station, an emergency plan can and will be implemented for the local municipalities within the Seabrook Station plume exposure Emergency Planning Zone. In the event that a local municipality is lacking in an emergency response capability, then the State of New Hampshire can and will compensate by providing support consistent with the New Hampshire RERP, Volume 2, Appendix G so entitled, " Concept of Operations for Providing State Assistance to Municipalities Unable to Respond to an Emergency."
