OI REPORT 4-95-013; RE: ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE: ALLEGED DELIBERATE FALSIFICATION OF FIRE WATCH RECORDS The above captioned OI report involves the identification by the licensee that
. a fire watch had logged completion of. tours that in fact had not been performed. The licensee terminated the contractor individual, reported the incident, reviewed.other similar records, and conducted additional training regarding the event.
The incident was noted in a routine inspection and classified as a non-cited violation. Based on the low safety significance of the violation, the disciplinary actions taken against the individual by the I
h licensee, the additional corrective actions by the licensee, and the review i
and documentation of the incident already conducted by the NRC, OE does not-l
' recommend that any additional enforcement action should be taken.
I do not intend to request an OGC analysis.of this' report. OE will consider-
~the matter closed from'an enforcement perspective unless we receive a
-different view within three weeks of the date of this memorandum.
