2.2 SCOPE System walkdown constitutes the inspection of the system for the aforementioned types of defects.

Defects of this type i

l shall be documented in accordance with paragraph 3.1 of this procedure.

3.0 INSTRUCTION 3.1 REPORTING 3.1.1 Arc Strikes and Base Metal Defects. Discovered Prior to System Walkdown Arc strikes and base metal defects shall be documented on i

the " Inspection Report " (Attachment 1).

The QC Inspector shall verify that the sequence of repair operations on the

" Inspection Report" are completed.

accordance with Reference 1-A.

3.1.2 Arc Strikes and Base Metal Defects Discovered Durina System Walkdown Arc strikes and base metal defects discovered during system walkdown will be entered by Completions Quality Engineering on the system punchlist, in addition to processing in l

accordance with paragraph 3.1.1.

l If minimum wall is violated, an NCR shall be generated in accordance with Reference 1-A.

3.1.3 Arc Strikes and Base Metal Defects Discovered After System Hydrostatic / Pneumatic Testing l

I Arc strikes and base metal defects discovered after accepted System Testing shall be handled in accordance with Reference 1-A.

3.2 DISTRIBUTION OF THE INSPECTION REPORT I

I Once the Inspection Report has been initiated, Completions I

QE/QC Inspector shall forward it to the NCR Coordinator.

The NCR Coordinator will serialize the Inspection Report, j

enter it into the Inspection Report Log, and forward a copy to the Area Foreman and Construction Superintendent.
