Peter A. Bradford, Commissioner Nuolear Regulatory Commission 1717 H. Street NW 7/12/79 Yashington D.C.

Dear Mr. Bradford:

Nuclear power plants continue to be a threat to our society and our ,

lives. We have written the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on this very -

serious matter before, months' befo: e the incident of three mile island.

Still, this situation is disreguarded with eyes of spathyl Licences continue to be issued.  ;

i We feel that the Diablo' power plant is a direct threat on our future and our childrens inture. At this time we request that you deny the operation rights to these' plants, immediatly. This arrogant apathy cannot continue by the quests of the electrio companies for wealth, especially when their actions are against the grain of the "people".

How can we accuratly for-see the future by one thousand years? We absolutly cannot ese that far ahead, or in between. One thousand years is a long time for so=ething to be radioactive, especially when we do not even understand radioactive waste!

Earnestly,yours M. Brook Tice 8805050210 00d410 PDR FOIA HAML I N 87 --4 4 4 PDR
