VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH A"NA POWER STATION UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 CONTAINhENT AIR LOCKS PROPOSED 'ECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE SUPPLEMENT VEPC0 letter, Serial 85-162, dated May 2,1985, submitted a request for an amendment, in the form of changes to Technical Specification 3.6.1.3 on Containment Air Locks, to Operating License No. NPF-4 and NPF-7 for North Anna Power Station Units 1 and 2.

This submittal modifies the proposed change request to clarify Action Statement A.1 to permit entries into the air lock for repair of an inoperable inner air lock door.

This revision to the technical specification change request is presented in Attachments 1 and 2.

The associated Safety Evaluation is presented in Attachment 3.

Since this submittal supplements our previous change request, which included the appropriate application fee, no additional application fee is included herein.

This supplemental change request has been reviewed and approved by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee and the Safety Evaluation and Control Staff.

It has been determined that this request does not involve an unreviewed safety question as defined in 10 CFR 50.59 or significant hazards consideration as defined in 10 CFR 50.92.
