Areas examined during the inspection included the quality assurance records

of the containc>ent building velding pregran, rceeipt inspection of Class I components and nonconforr.snee and variation notice reports. Within these

e areas, the inspectien consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with site and engineering personnel, and

observations by the inspectors. '

During the inspection, it was found that certain of your activities appear x

to be in violation of Appendix B to 10 CFR 50 of the AEC regulations,

" Quality Assurance Criteria for Nuclear P ver Plants." These violations and 4,

references to the pertinent requirements are identified in Section I of the 3-enclosure. This notice is sent to you pursuant to the provisions of Section ";q'-
