70-7002 General Information: On March 3,1997, the NRC is scheduled to assume regulatory jurisdiction over United States Enrichment Corporation operation of uranium enrichr1ent plants at Paducah, Kentucky and Piketon, Ohio. Currently the plants are making the transition to NRC requirements. An open meeting with the Corporation has been scheduled to discuss a proposed revision to the technical safety requirement that will govern product withdrawal operations at the Portsmouth plant.
