June 30, 1995 MEMORANDUM T0: File Number 4-95-022 MEMORANDUM FROM: Senior Investigator Virginia Van Cleave

SUBJECT:

Telephone Conversation with Patricia Wilson On June 30, 1995, I telephoned Wilson, V P aponry, 7 C, Inc I follow up on an allegation at IWI was receiving ium rom an unappro urce. i Wilson stated that IWI was currently working on an agreement to receive tritium inserts from a source other than SRB Technologies, their current

, supplier. However, she did not know the name of the company or the particulars about the proposed arrangement, which has not yet been finalized.

Wilson said IWI had decided to apply for a completely new NRC license, rather than amend the old one, since they had so many problems attempting to amend it. Included in their application for a new NRC license will be a request to obtain tritium inserts from this new source. She said her husband, Ken Wilson, was handling the negotiations with the other company, which she believed was from South Africa. She said she would collect what documents IWI had regarding this arrangement (I asked for contracts, letters of intent, etc.) and mail them to me within the next day or two.
