Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards Branch Division of Radiation Safety and Safeguards SUMMARY Scope:
This routine, unannounced inspection involved 37 inspector-hours onsite (four hours backshift) inspecting:
Security Plan and Implementing Procedures; Management Effectiveness - Security Program; Security Program Audit; Locks, Keys, and Combinations; Physical Barriers - Protected Area; Security System Power Supply; Compensatory Measures; Access Control -
Personnel; Access Control -
Packages; Access Control - Vehicles; Communications; and Personnel Training and Qualification - General Requirements.
Results:
No violations or deviations were identified in 11'of the 12 areas inspected.
One apparent violation was found in the area of Access Control -
Personnel.
(The Security Officer responsible for the last access control function was not isolated in a bullet resisting structure.)
