AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The United States Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Commission) has grantedtherequestofEntergyOperations,Inc.(thelicensee)towithdrawthe May 4, 1990, application for proposed amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-29 for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit No. I' located in Claiborne County, Mississippi.

responsibilities from Systems Energy Resources, Inc. to Entergy Operations, i

Inc.

The Commission has previously issued a Notice of Consideration of 4

1ssuance of Amendment published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on May. 10, 1990 (55FR19687). By letter dated June 6, 1990, the licensee withdrew the proposed change because the licensee was able to implement all conditions in Amendment No. 65 within the required time limit. The official transfer date is June 6, 1990.
