This refers to the inspection conductad by Mr. E. Jones, Jr. of this

office on January 13-14, 1976 of activities authorized by URC License

No. R-65 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Jones with

yourself and Mr. McManus of your staff at the conclusion of the inspec-

tion.

Areas examined during this inspection included the physical protection

program as it relates to the protection of the Arny Matarials Research

Reactor (AMRR). W1?.in these areas, the inspection consisted of selec-

tive examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews

with personnel, and observations by the inspector.

Within the scope of this inspection, no items of noncompliance vere

-

observed.

In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the URC's " Rules of Practica",

Par: 2, Title 10, Cada of Federal Regulations, docu=entation of your

control and accounting procedures for safeguarding special nuclear

materials and your facility ecurity procedures are e: tempt frca dis-

closure; therefore, the inspection report will not be placed in the

Public Document Room and will receive linited distribution.
