environmental qualificatiori (EEQ) review of operating reactors.: -FRC-will perform an EEQ review of the Licensee's 90-day response to outstanding issues

~fr'om the NRC Equipment Environmental Qualification Safety Evaluation Report (SER)_and the. installed TMI Action Plan _ equipment.

The review will be limited to safety-related equipment potentially exposed to a harsh environment. The

~'

results wil1 be presented in the form of a technical evaluation report for each plant.

This request for additional information (RAI) is the result of an

~evaluation of'the information provided by letters dated October 31, 1980 [1]

and November 6, 1981 [2, 2.1].*

FRC previously requested 'IMI Actio.n P1an information by a telephone memorandum dated October 2,_1981 [3].

On February 22, 1982, FRC received a letter from Florida Power Corporation (FPC) dated February 19, 1982 [6].

This' letter, with attachments, contained all of the documents' requested in Section A of the RAI.
