Dear Mr. Burstein:

This confirms our telephoned authorizattor. given yesterday, December 3, 1981 for a change in the Technical Specification for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2 as requested by your letter dated December 3, 1981. Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-24 and DPR-27 were amended on December 3,1981 by making the following Technical Specification change:

Table 15.3.5-1 Item 9. Degraded Voltage (4.16 KV) to read:

Time delay:

13.6 sec. + 5%

at 0-95% of voltage siitting.*

• Effective December 3, 1981 a time delay of less than 60 seconds at 0-95% of voltage setting is authorized for a period of 30 days.

Copies of the license amendment, our evaluation and the Federal Register

!!otice for this Technical Specification change will be sent to you when completed.
